Hello Darling!...

...... All your Christmases have come at once !!

The inspiration for this card came from the picture lower down which  is an inspirational picture for one of "Sassy Studio Designs" monthly challenges. For that challenge you have to use one of their digi-images to enter.  I have this beautiful "SDS" image called "Steampunk Josephine" which was a fantastic freebie and decided to make my husband's Christmas card with it.

                                   Inspired by this
                                         picture

Elements used:
For the base of the card I used white card and punched around with lace trim punch. Then I glittered the edges with black glitter. For the next layer I used my husband's favourite, which is a silver mirror card. The next red layer is a thin paper colored around the edges with a red promarker. The next layer up with the circles  is a backing paper which is from "sweetdigiscraps" which I recoloured. I also added a few other elements to this backing paper from a freebie download by "creationsbyrachaelb" -(Holiday Cheer)"which is the part of my left side of the card (the light paper with red and green) and I also used the same download to create the circles behind my images. The other add on to make this backing paper I created the red stripes and put part of the recolored backing paper over it. When I printed the backing paper out I was not happy with the colour red because none of my promarkers in red came even close to it and I like it matching, so I recolored every red bit of the backing paper with a red promarker. The "Steampunk Josephine" image was printed out and colored with promarkers. The group of digi-presents are from a download from "paperdreamsofmine".They come plain and I added some doodles with a black pen and colored with promarkers. The sentiment is from  "whenthescraphitsthefun". The snowflakes at the bottom of the sentiment and underneath the roses (the second layer) are a part of a digi-image from "scribblesbysandy" which I printed out and cut out. The layer underneath the roses is from a silhoutte punch 3.8 cm by xcut I used silver mirror card again. The roses and metal corners are from "wild orchid crafts". Ribbons, big gemstones and mini gemstones are from my stash.

I would like to enter my card into following challenges:
