Macross Frontier

Here's something about Macross Frontier. Read on if you care. Macross Frontier is the latest in the ongoing franchise of Macross. Released on Macross's 25th anniversary, MF includes the standard big planes that turn into people, big people (the Zentradi) and big explosions. And since it's Macross, there's a lot of J-Pop too!

Introduced to me by a cousin of a certain friend, this series has been quite a pleasant surprise. Having not watched enough anime all year, this was a great re-entry series back into the flow of things. The story is mildly interesting, the music great, the animation pretty slick; the fights are pretty exciting and not all that repetitive, nothing like Gundam SEED which was just one action on multiple backgrounds. Still need to finish it so I hope the ending doesn't suck too bad.
