Mark’s Finest Papers
I took this photo last week when I was visiting my niece. My niece just had a baby and we came for the baby's baptism. My niece has decorated the baby's nursery with zebras and other African animals. Considering that this is my niece's zebra, it makes total sense.
My project, is a windsock that I made for the baby's nursery. It also doubled as a project that I did with my learners for life group last week. We took oatmeal containers and peeled off the paper. I wrapped mine with black cardstock. There was a horizontal seam as well as a vertical seem, but I covered them with the images. I stamped the images with black stazon. I matted the images with different colors and used the scraps to cut triangles. It took awhile to cut the triangles just right. I punched 4 holes at the top and tied black twine in each hole. I then tied the 4 pieces of twine together. I cut out the bottom of the oatmeal container. I added glue around the rim and glued strips of white tissue paper. It was hard to photograph a round object. I tried to take enough photos so that you could see how the windsock looks.
