I was able to cut it the boot from one 5x8inch piece of paper, and another 7x8 sheet of paper in one cut. The embellishments were done in a second cut from a piece of silver card stock. You get a variety of embellishments that you can choose from to truly customize each pair of boots.
The hat is not a box, just a simple circle, with the hat outline, made of two pieces you cut in one cut. My daughter suggested you use it for a drink wrapper. If you had some bandana napkins, it would make a cute napkin ring.
