I decided to have a play around and try to clear emboss onto patterned paper which is something I’ve never tried before. I adore bright and bold colours because they make me happy just looking at them.so I chose this patterned paper sheet in my DCWV The Blossoms & Butterflies Stack to try out this new technique combined with this scalloped star stamp that I bought from a lovely lady clearing out all her old stamps. Well …she never made it out of the car park to try to sell them at our group day I bought them all, because they were so unusual and she gave me an absolute bargain and threw in some free stamps for my darling daughter. I knew the scallops on the star would soften the strong diamond pattern and make an unusual Christmas Card. So I clear embossed the star onto the patterned paper then used my Stamp It Sponging Block with Vicki Fraser’s Stampin Up Temping Turquoise Inkpad. I’m definitely getting that Temping Turquoise Inkpad I just love this colour.Anyway,I sponged it until I covered the square of patterned paper and then rubbed over with a tissue to remove he excess ink to reveal my clear embossing. I think it turned out great. Then to the job of mounting it.I went and bought some new cardstock so it all matched beautifully . I was passionate about doing some paper piercing and using my new Stampin Up photo corner punch and very pleased with the result of this card inside and out. Those who know me well, know I am currently addicted to glitter and bling. I’m sorry but I just can’t help myself there is glitter and bling everywhere on this card and the dog who forever sits underneath me, but really who doesn’t love glitter and bling!
