I had a special request for this card in my comments from Vicki Fraser at CardarTart for this card with purple in fact we kind of pre planed it over the phone, so here it is. I also got to try out some new ideas I’d been thinking about for a while . I used pale pink Kaisercraft paper and Kaisercraft Hot Pink Ink inside my embossing folder and when it came out I thought it looked too neat so I spritzed it with my own Shimmer mist and this seemed to blend the ink to create this effect and then I sponged the edges to finish it off with a little more depth of colour, so that the colour mirrored the same pink of my flowers in the main image. Instead of spending ages trying to find the right ribbon I embossed then folded up a ribbon out of matching cardstock for a perfect colour match for my card, I didn’t measure the folds I just went for it. At the bottom I used my 3 bling and to add a little extra I used glitter around each bling, Vicki always says a bit of glitter always makes everything better!.
I couldn’t resist and added another photo of this card again with a change of background fabric and how it makes the card look so different.
