Pop up Tree Card

To fit in a 4.25 x 5.5 card I had resized it to cut out of 8.5x11 paper(so about 8 inches wide/tall). I  decorated one with red fingernail polish. Folds flat, and shows up nicely. Dries quickly to a shiny finish. You could of course glue on sequins or gems.

Look online for instructions on how to assemble these sliceform trees. Here is one with clear pictures that I was able to follow easily.

Friends of the Forest and a Tree

I totally forgot about the files for this paper piecing, I first showed on m blog last July. Someone asked for an svg of a hedgehog, and it reminded me about these cute little hedgehogs and other animals in this file. I zipped the files together. Download them if you'd like to make some of the animals or even the whole scene with the tree.

Box with a Window..NO A REAL WINDOW!

Window. window box, tree and garland:

http://www.mediafire.com/?kmyjmzmvykm

Attach clear plastic to inside of cutout on box(double sided tape or something strong). Put tree inside box, using "raised sticky dots" or something to give it a more 3 d effect. Fold box, putting strip of double tape on long edge of box. Fold in flaps. Attach window to front over clear plastic.

You can put something else in window if you like.
