Five Petal Card and/or Exploding Flower Card

This file is the simple five petal card which when folded, leaves a pentagon shape. If you make them in different sizes(I did them one inch apart(2,3,4...7) and then attach in the middle, you can make something that looks like this when open:

and still closes up to look like this:

so you can tuck it into an envelope.
Of course, you would probably have a mesage or greeting and some embellishments if you were going to use this as a card. This was just a test! I used 3 double sided pieces of card stock for this flower to quickly create this masterpiece.

CardsLabelsFrames Font ..$5.00

I've been working on a quick and easy way to make cards, labels and frames and I've put it all together in a font. It has many different oval, rectangle, and circle shapes that you can intermix to create an interesting frame or tag to glue one of the 30 sayings onto.
You could also use these on your scrapbook pages to frame a photo or die cut. It even has the card and the envelope too!

Here are some examples I cut:
Here is a character map of what is in the font:

Snowdrops...Lovely White Flowers...free svg

Someone was looking for a snowdrop flower. I found a drawing online and converted it. Now I've only seen photos of this flower, but this looks close! I welded as many pieces together as I could, to make it easy to piece. I figure I might as well post the file on my blog, in case others would like it.

Coming Soon: Breast Cancer Awareness and Comfort Svg Collection

Someone in my Yahoo Groups was wanting some svgs to cut on her Cricut to make a Journal for her friends who have breast cancer. When I found out that you could only get the Pink Journey Cricut cartridge by buying a NEW CRICUT EXPRESSION, I thought, "How Unfair!". First I did a search, and came up with a few things made by others for her to cut. Then I decided I might as well make my own package. It isn't rocket science! I am now looking for some testers. I will give you the package of svgs, and you will cut some of them out in exchange, and give me feedback.

Here are just some of the files in the package(Because you know me, I just can't stop making things!).

Email me at dhoffman@spacey.net if you have a need for these files, so don't mind cutting some of them.

Thanks...Denise

Baby Tiger Svg

Someone was looking for a tiger, so I made this cute little guy. Except for the eyes and nose, you only have two pieces to glue together. Things with stripes are tricky to create, so you don't have to glue them all on.

Enjoy! Have a great day. Let me know if you are looking for something, I can see what I can whip up!

More Native American/Southwest Free Svg Files

Carmen was kind enough to share some of the projects she made using the Native American files. I think her projects came out great. Some of the designs she adhered to tiles, the others are for scrapbook pages. Thanks Carmen! You are a star.

There were so many files I decided to zip them this time. The zip file includes all the native american files from yesterday too. If you love these files, why not order something from my for sale area? They are as cheap as $2.00 if you want to throw a little appreciation my way.

Haul your Treats in this Truck Favor Box: Free Svg to cut with SCAL

Here is a new favor box you can make on your Cricut if you have the Sure Cuts a Lot software and the svg file you download from dscrapbookingroom.blogspot.com and a little patience. This one is more challenging to assemble than the car.

First crease all the folds on the foldlines. Notice that on the "cab" of the truck, those folds are "backwards" from the rest. The cab of he truck is narrower than the back of the truck and looks like it is coming out of the back of the truck once it is assembled.

Glue the truck back.

Prefold the front of the truck. Glue each section of the top to the side tabs. Use a quick drying, strong glue like Fast Grab Tacky Glue from Aleene's(bought at Michaels).

Attach the wheels and back bumper trim. Fold the cab and attach to the front of the truck, aligning the windows. The top of the side doors can be "folded under" and over the top of the door frame before the top is glued on to make for a neater appearance.

The two files you need are here:
